Our children are the future of Christianity. It is for this reason that Tri-Lakes Baptist Church strives to teach them the Scriptures from an early age. Our children’s ministries are designed with this in mind. From the graded Sunday School, Wednesday night programming ( children’s choir and age specific Bible study) to our Monday night AWANA program, annual Vacation Bible School, and Summer Camp. We are committed to the task of training children to serve God with all of their being. The goal of the Tri-Lakes Baptist youth program is the same as for the adults, namely, To see people evangelized and become grounded in the Word of God, controlled by the Holy Spirit, and living their lives according to Biblical principles.

AWANA is a Bible club for kids hosted at our church every Monday at 6:30-8:00pm during the school year. It is for any children K-6th grade. Thrilling games, exciting songs, and life-changing Bible lessons are all part of the program. The club name is an acronym for the motto: A – approved, W – workmen, A – are, N – not, A – ashamed. It comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of truth.” Parents, come with your kids and visit!
