Jon & Nisha Harris are church planting missionaries to Peru. They are transitioning from a successful work in Huancayo to starting a new work in the mountains.

Jon’s Testimony: I was raised in a Godly Home that taught the Word of God. I received Christ as my Saviour and was baptized at the age of ten. Missionaries that visited our church sharing their fields gave to me a broader vision for the needs of others to hear the Gospel. I began to pray that God would use me to help others. It seems as if God has been preparing me each step of the way. I have been in full time ministry since graduating from Northland Baptist Bible College in 1995. I have served as Youth Pastor, Bible Teacher, Counselor, and have gained from my experiences in being active in my church.

Nisha’s Testimony: I was raised in a broken home and did not hear the Gospel until I was eleven. I received Christ as my Saviour and was baptized at the age of twenty-one. I attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College and graduated in 1993. I met Jon while serving as a counselor at Camp CoBeAc. We were married on July 15, 1995. God has blessed us with four children (Matthew, Nathan, Rebecca, and Kathleen). As God’s servants, we surrendered to obey if God would ever call us to be foreign missionaries.

The Harrises were sent out by Faithway Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, MI

Tri-Lakes has been supporting the Harrises since 2018.
